Marshland Entertainment is an independent entertainment service based in Savannah, GA. It was created in 2011 by Savannah native Blake Cannady.

We want to build a showcase of local film technical personnel who are trained, professional, and eager to work on their next digital media project. There is a growing number of skilled individuals in the Savannah, GA area from various craft department experience.

Marshland Entertainment's missions are to make Savannah, GA a media & entertainment capital of the world. We are interested in producing a wide variety of projects including but not limited to; live game shows, short films, music videos, episodic/web-episodic series, and features. We hope to work with diverse talented individuals across numerous fields residing in the coastal empire.

Being a member of Marshland Entertainment, an indie film studio in Savannah, GA, means being part of a creative community dedicated to producing unique, independent films. Members collaborate on various aspects of filmmaking, including writing, directing, cinematography, and editing.
It could also involve participating in other forms of entrainment experiences, networking with other filmmakers, and gaining hands-on experience in the industry. Being a Marshlander emphasizes artistic expression, storytelling, and a shared passion for film, along with a commitment to local culture and the arts in Savannah. Members may also engage with the community through screenings, events, or outreach programs involving students from Savannah Tech film academy, helping to foster a vibrant local film scene.
